effervescent

joyously unrestrained and enthusiastic; recovering readily from illness, adversity, or the like; springing back; maintaining high spirits (Webster’s New Universal Unabridged Dictionary)

bubbly, expansive, exuberant, high-spirited, lively, resilient, resolved, sparkling, spunky, stout

This week’s ageless word is in honor of my Aunt Pauline.  It is fitting that my Aunt Pauline was the last of my grandfather’s siblings.  She knew how to endure and lived with a “chin-up” attitude.  She seemed to have nine lives, always bouncing back and landing on her feet.  She stood the test of time with a spunk & zeal that was contagious.  Her resolve was never more apparent than at the card table.  She could hang in there until the sun came up.  She took Life by the hand, with a smile, and did her best with what she was dealt.  Fond memories of Aunt Pauline will always bubble up in my heart.
